However, a tablet lacks the functions of a cellular phone just like a smartphone would.

Other models include the HP Touchsmart, the Dell Latitude and the Samsung Galaxy tablet. These products are outfitted with an Intel or AMD dual core processors, 8.9″ to 12.1″ multi-touch screen displays, expandable memory and SD card slots, and long-life batteries.

These tablets are built-in with WiFi connectivity using the 802.11 a/b/g/n values although some models have WiFi plus 3G connectivities using UMTS/HSDPA (850, 1900, 2100 MHz) and GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHZ) data only frequencies. The 3G connections are for data tasks including browsing the internet and sending email whenever a WiFi connection is not available but are not yet used for voice communications using the tablet.

Selling Tablet PCs Online

Tablet PCs are strong items selling both offline and online, particularly the more affordable entry level tablets that can cost lower than 500 US. Conversely, these objects are either carried by the larger network carriers or are only available through the greater authorized dealers and online stores. This makes it difficult to small and medium resellers to get hold of these items for sale in their own eBay listings or on their own websites and online stores.

Then again, online resellers can take a look at the products coming from China as multiple people are also looking this way trying to find a good product with the same features as top-selling marquee tablets but just at a tiny proportion of the price. You’ll be surprised to know that there are a wide variety of Chinese versions of these marquee tablets, many of which goes by the name of Apad, ePad, or MaiPad.

These products may look exactly the same as marquee tablets but are some differences in the interior functions. A good number of these Chinese tablets use the Google Android operating system and have 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. However, when reselling these products, check if the items have 3G or 4G connectivity as these wireless technologies have merely begun roll out in new markets such as China and India. If your supplier markets these products as having 3G or 4G connectivity, ensure that they have the same specifications available in your customers country or area.
